It'll probably be good, but why NOT wait and see and be sure? At worst you'll have to pay a tenner or two more, but more likely you'll just be able to make a more informed decision on whether to get them straight away, wait for a sale, or skip them altogether. I suspect the smart thing to do is not to pre-order at all, but to wait and see what the actual content on offer is. I'm fairly confident these expectations will be met.

I would be extremely disappointed if it included any cosmetic packs. I'm expecting at least Golden Realms level content for those expansions. And the current preorder bonus includes things like 'new diplomacy pose'which is the kind of cosmetic 'add-on' that previous Triumph games never included. (Very nice new campaign, Two new major races, new minor race, new class, new victory condition, new racial diplomacy mechanics, new structures, six new specialisation choices, new global events, plus most of the above was a step above and beyond quality-wise.) That game had two expansions and both were very good and definitely lifted the game to a new level. Also note they are calling them ' three upcoming EXPANSIONS ' I hope that is true.
